The gal behind the camera, the mastermind of creating beautiful images to last a lifetime!
Born and raised on Treaty One Territory, Winnipeg, MB, aka forever a prairie gal.
I can't wait to be able to capture candid moments during our sessions and the in-between. Documenting moments for you that you wouldn't have thought of is something I strive for. I want to photograph you, your family, or your business authentically.
And don't worry; I'll add a couple of posed shots for you! It's a fun process to plan photoshoots. I can't wait to work with you!
What can you expect from your session with me? Wondering if I will capture you beautifully, even though you say you're awkward (you and me both)? That is why I'm here! I'll guide you through the entire session right from when you book with me. If you have questions about I keep my work environment positive and fun. Photography is collaborative, so if there is something that you specifically want to try or really want to capture, I'm your pal! Let's work together to capture those moments you want to cherish together. I believe in showing the beauty of everyone as you are.
I work with two camera bodies: Nikon D610 (my first love) and Nikon Z5, and my top 3 lenses: 35mm, 50mm & 85mm.
“ “A thing that you see in my pictures is that I was not afraid to fall in love with these people.” ”
A few things I love:
Riven (Of Course)
Need I say more? I didn't have a dog growing up, so getting a little furry friend brought so much joy to my life.
Something I love to capture, as a wedding photographer is laughter. You can feel the happiness through the photo every time you capture someone or everyone's laugh.
The slow process of waiting to see the results of the film is so exciting. I love receiving the prints and seeing what worked or didn't.
Being outdoors is one of my favourite things to do. Hiking during the year is so fun and refreshing. It's fun revisiting old spots and trying out new ones.
Get to Know me Better
Besides my dog, laughter, film and hiking, you'll always find me reading a book or two.
I'm fairly introverted, so I really do enjoy my alone time at home, but when I'm with friends and family, I'm living and enjoying every moment.
